✐ Felicia est une jeune artiste suédoise qui a étudié à Konstfack, à Stockholm. Elle obtient son diplôme en 2017. Issue de formation design produit et création industrielle, elle explore une approche plus artistique dans son travail pour =xpo. Felicia expose deux pièces pour cette exposition : un court métrage (réalisé en collaboration avec Vera Theander) ainsi qu’un collage.
« Inspirée par le travail de l’artiste Dada Hanna Höch, j’ai créé un collage tri -dimensionnel. L’idée est d’explorer les normes au travers des gestes ordinaires et sans intérêt. Par exemple : Quel idéal les déodorants essayent de communiquer? En exagérant les formes des déodorants, j’ai voulu explorer comment rendre visible un geste quotidien. Comment nos mouvements sont-ils régis par les objets? Comment contrôlent-ils nos vies, comportements et habitudes? » Felicia Nilsson.

« Inspired by the work of the dada artist Hanna Höch I have made three-dimensional collages. The idea is to explore norms by looking at the mundane and ordinary. What kind of ideals are the deodorant part of recreating? By exaggerating the shape of the deodorant I wanted to explore how to make visible an everyday action. How do objects choreograph us and control our lives and behaviours? » Felicia Nilson.
